Welcome to 5th grade at Moore Magnet School. My name is Mrs. Greene. In the past I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 5th grade. I have an undergraduate degree from Austin Peay State University and a master’s degree from Cumberland University. This will be my 4th year teaching 5th grade at Moore and I love it!
Your child will have a busy year. We will do many fun and educational activities. Your child will have an amazing opportunity this year. We are so excited to announce that each 5th grade student will be assigned their own laptop computer that they will be able to take home when needed to work on assignments. More information will be available about this very soon! It is my goal that each child achieve to the best of his or her ability.
I hope that each student had a fun summer and is now ready for a year of many learning experiences. I have found that students are more successful when they know what is expected of them in the classroom. This blog will be updated often with important information so please check back.

I want to share my life with 3 kids two and under as we all grow and change. I sure never thought that my heart could be so full. Nor did I realize how much my life would change after I married the man of my dreams. So come with us on the journey of raising a toddler and newborn twins!
